Little 2-5/8″ EDC in S35VN and a scrap of ironwood left over from another project. This knife started longer, but it got a little unplanned rhinoplasty. Great little belt-finished EDC now:
EDC
AuK3 in A2 and Burlap Micarta
When you’re so #bushcraft that even your EDC has to be a Kephart. This AuK3 is 3″ of 3/32″ A2 to the plunge, 3-3/8″ to the #710knives burlap mycarta scales
Wearing a brand new molded-to-fit BHK#4 leather sheath.
Birucandashi in AEB-L
Here’s another of my favorite EDC’s, same as I carry: a Birucandashi in AEB-L.
As craft beer has moved to cans, so has the Birudashi evolved a new sub-species optimized to match. The tapered tail neatly lifts a pop top, and also is effective on bottle caps using the lighter/lever method. For you bushcrafters, the sides of the bevel throw wicked sparks on a ferro rod.
Hand-forged scrap knife in O1
This scrap of O1 was sitting in my shop for literally years, and I finally forged it into this handy little 3″ EDC, matching it up with scraps of brass and white oak, tempering colors and all. Last completed knife of 2019!
Slim EDC in O1 and Red Micarta
This nifty little EDC is an older design made for belt-finishing. Finally completed it. 3/32″ O1 carbon tool steel with 1/8″ red micarta scales. Ground on one side, sharpened on both. 2-3/8″ blade, 3-1/4″ handle.
